Gainesville Health & Rehab Center

Dear Marti,

My family and I would like to thank you and all your staff for the wonderful care, service, and assistance rendered to my mother, Jean McGee, during her stay at Gainesville Health and Rehab.  We greatly appreciate the support my mother and we received.  My sisters were truly impressed by your facility and attentive care.  We especially would like to commend Ida, Judy, Annie and Hoi for their patient indulgence and loving assistance.  But all your staff was kind and most helpful.  I know Mom was not the easiest patient to take care of.  And thanks also to Sara, Mike and Ashley for their administrative assistance.  They were a great help getting me through the Medicare maze.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you need assistance in closing out our account with you.  God bless you all for the work you do.

Sincerely,
Michael P. McGee

To the Fairview staff:

Thank you for the compassionate, attentive care you provided our mother, Margaret Cockrell, during her one year stay with you.  Since we were not physically able to care for her at home, we were comfortable knowing she was in a place that was capable of seeing to her needs.

On numerous occasions, we witnessed the diligence and concern of staff members, including CNS’s, LPN’s and RN’s. In many ways, you became her new family, tending to her around the clock.  It was a fact she recognized as well, as witnessed by her response to your care.

We appreciate all you did.  While we are glad Mom is no longer suffering, we’re sorry we’ll not have the frequent opportunity to see many of you who’ve become dear friends over the past twelve months.

With grateful hearts,
Carlena Fields and Katie Magill

My wife was recently a patient at Gainesville Health and Rehab Center. Upon her admittance we were both apprehensive about nursing homes and the care that she would be receiving. You often hear the “bad” stories of various nursing facilities, but never the good. I am happy to say that shortly are her being admitted there, our worries and fears diminished and I felt comfortable leaving her in the hands of the staff at Gainesville.

I was very pleased with the quality of care she received. The facility is very clean and well kept. The nursing staff was very attentive to the needs of my wife, and did an excellent job of taking care of her. The rehab department did a wonderful job with her therapy and was extremely helpful in helping her regain her strength and help her get back home.

The staff at Gainesville was extremely helpful to my wife and me and I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone who was in need of short term or long term rehab.

Sincerely,
Mr. James N Ryan

My name is Amanda Partlow and I have been working at Gainesville Health and Rehab Center since its doors were opened in June of 2006. Working in health care has provided me the opportunity to see many different facilities and work with all kinds health care professionals, and I must say Gainesville stands out amongst all of the other nursing facilities I have seen and worked with.

One of the biggest things I love about Gainesville is the quality of care that is provided at the facility. As the unit manager of one of our units, I see first hand the quality of care that is provided to our residents. Everyone that works in this building, from our administrator to housekeeping, to our CNA’s is committed to making sure all of our residents are provided with the highest care available, as well as the most home like experience that can be provided in a nursing home.

Another factor that I love about Gainesville is that we strive to make our facility as close to home as it can be. No one ever wants to be in a nursing home, we all know that it isn’t “home” but our administrator and corporate office have gone above and beyond to make this as close to home as can be. Our shower rooms are more like spa’s and have soft music playing, a heat lamp, and a whirlpool. We have a fireplace and comfortable seating in our front lobby, fine dining offered at all three meals, and several courtyards for the resident’s enjoyment. All of these additions make this facility feel more like a real home and less like a nursing home.

We have an amazing sense of unity and team work here at Gainesville that is hard to find at other facilities. All of our staff works together to make sure our residents receive the highest level of care. I constantly witness staff taking on extra responsibilities in order to help out a fellow staff member and ensure that our residents to not go without superior care.

Turnover of nurses in nursing homes is frequent. I am proud to say that I have been here for all three years and have enjoyed every moment of it. I can not think of a better facility to work at and am extremely happy to call Gainesville Health and Rehab center my employer.

Sincerely,
Amanda Partlow

10/13/10

I sincerely wish to thank each and everyone who took such wonderful care of my mother, Betty Poet.

The professionalism, compassion and respect shown to mother is a testament that she was in good hands.

My gratitude to those who took time to visit and express their love to Mom (while in Fairview) and again to express their sympathy to me and my family upon mother’s passing Saturday evening was a touching and tender moment I will treasure.

Blessings to you all.

Gainesville Testimonial

January 3, 2012

Attention: Clairmont Staff

Ken and I wanted to thank everyone who cared for Jeanette (Jean) Comisky for the past four years. There were so many nurses, aides, staff who we met over the time Jean was at GHRC, I hesitate to name the names for fear of forgetting someone. Jean tried to manage as best as she could over her remaining days at Gainesville because she was one determined, independent lady. Her blindness and tremors left her with limitations which she dealt with and accepted with grace and dignity.

Everyone from the medical/daily care areas, dietary, activities, maintenance, and housekeeping were always there to assist in any way they could. With that, we thank you all and ask God’s Blessing on all of you who cared for and knew Jean as the lady she was.

Sincerely,

Barbara and Ken Cominsky
