Resident Visitation

Posted on:

Resident safety is a top priority for Gainesville Health & Rehab Center. We agree the spread of COVID19 is a critical issue that requires attention. Our goal is to try and keep the virus out of our center and if it is found in the center, to minimize the spread to anyone else. We currently do not have anyone in our center with COVID19 or suspected of having COVID19. The Virginia Department of Health is reporting cases in our county. We are relying on local, state and federal resources to help prevent the spread of this virus. We are following Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines regarding the Infection and Prevention of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID19) in nursing homes. (Ref:QSO-20-14-NH).

Specifically related to visitation we will be enacting the following restriction in this Center based on residing in a community where a community-based spread of COVID19 is occurring: NO VISITATION in the Center will be allowed.

We will facilitate communication between you and your loved one by phone or virtual technology as you request.

We appreciate your patience as we strive to keep our patients, staff, and visitors safe from COVID-19.

This is a fluid situation and we will update you as soon as we are able to lift restrictions.
