Q: How long have you been with GHRC?
A: I have been with Gainesville for 3 years.
Q: Why did you choose to be a COTA?
A: I became a COTA after working as a medical assistant at the Peds office. I enjoy working hands-on w/ patients & their families to restore function and purpose in their life.
Q: What are 3 words your colleagues would use to describe your personality?
A: My coworkers would say that I’m outspoken, helpful, and loyal. I feel that my best characteristic is my compassion for others. I love working with my patients to help them reach their therapy & personal goals.
Q: What do you like to do for fun? What are some of your hobbies?
A: In my free time, I love being with my family & friends. I love hiking and binge-watching my favorite TV shows.
Q: What was the most difficult challenge you experienced throughout the past year regarding the COVID-19 pandemic? How did you overcome this challenge?
A: The most difficult challenge w/ Covid was being away from my family. I spent 4 weeks in an extended stay hotel @ the height of Covid at our facility.
Q: Did you get vaccinated for COVID-19? If yes, why?
A: I am fully vaccinated because I’m a healthcare worker with direct contact with the at-risk populations, and I wanted to be part of the solution.
